Remember this post? I didn't get anything for my bedroom. Sadly, I didn't even get anything for myself. My kids love cotton candy. I'm constandly getting the $1. tubs at the store as treats (it beats the chewy candy that I don't let them have cause I'm a mean mom). So with a little help from the kids, I decided to do my review on the Nostalgia Hard Candy/Sugar free candy Cotton Candy Maker.

First I have to say that CSNstores did great with the shipping. It came in a box with bubble wrap surrounding the excess space. And fast. It came within 4 days of me deciding. Impressive.
Phil brought home a huge bag of mints and Jolly Rancher hard candy for our first try. The kids gathered around the machine and were yelling what flavors they wanted to try first. Set up was easy. It only comes with 2 plastic cones, but we had a couple chopsticks that worked well with it also. The little round black candy receptacle snapped onto the metal grate underneath it, pop the two pieces of pink bowl together and turn it on for 5 minutes before adding your first candy. Very cool machine. Add 2 pieces of candy in the candy area and start making your cotton candy. It even tastes like cotton candy you would get at the fair or circus. I love it! It's even easy enough for my kids to do (with supervision) The candy receptacle does get pretty hot...see below in pictures. But when you are done, just let it cool before taking apart. Clean up is just as easy. The bowl comes apart again for easy cleaning and you just put the candy holder in boiling water for a couple minutes and its good as new.



We even used our machine and made little cotton candy puffs for a tea party. A big tea party. It also comes with a little scoop that you can use cotton candy sugar with the machine as well.
Overall, we loved it. We use it weekly (no joke). Emily even asks if she can make some cotton candy to bring to school.
